We, the Deeper Network team are very proud of our working product. Our device, Deeper Connect, has the capabilities of a router and a mining device, providing private and secure internet to its users and, at the same time, allowing them to share their bandwidth to other users who wish to browse anonymously in exchange for DPR tokens.
From the very beginning, we understood that Blockchain technologies were here to stay and that they will change forever the way we interact with each other and conduct business in our society. Despite its promising future, Blockchain still depends a lot on human trust. Human trust is the last line of defense before blockchain can be fully implemented. What better example of this than the ICO euphoria? We saw projects promising everything and delivering nothing. Still, they were raising astronomical monetary figures without even having to prove themselves. Let’s face it, for a lot of projects behind the scenes, it has been all simulation.
What distinguishes our project from other projects? We did not start collecting money, we did start developing a project. At the moment of writing these lines, Deeper Network can back up its claims with a project which has undergone almost three years of development. It is evident that as the market matures investors will be more likely to see and test before fully committing to anything. The space is not only becoming bigger, is getting wiser.
We want everyone to know that our project works and that we are always striving to make it even better. We also want everyone to know that our project addresses a fundamental need in the market, which is the lack of Internet Privacy. The broader issue of internet privacy is beyond the scope of this article. The issue and its implications per se can be the subject of several Ph.D. dissertations or philosophical essays. We understand that the average individual values his/her privacy and wants to make use of the web in the most anonymous and ethical way possible. If that is what you need, then we have the product that will give you back your privacy. Our project seeks to create a free internet, without censorship or restrictions with the possibility of being anonymously shareable among its users. A truly private and censorship free Internet for the people. We believe it is possible.
